Q: Where did you grow up?

A: Irvine, California

Q: What career path did you choose for yourself as a child?

A: Veterinarian

Q: What was your favorite subject in school?


A:  Chemistry

Q: What is your spirit animal and why?


A:  A bear because I like to sleep for long stretches of time.

Q: What's your favorite book?

A:  The Contortionist's Handbook by Craig Clevenger

Q: Where is your favorite vacation spot?

A: At home.

Q: Is there anything on your bucket list?


A: Visiting Japan someday.

Q: If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?

A: Slack, Imgur, and Onirim

Q: If you were stranded on an island, what 3 things would you want to have with you?

A: A nice long book to read, my guitar, and something to drink.


Q: Do you have any hobbies/activities you like to do in your free time?

A: I like playing board games and have a sizable collection compared to most people. Otherwise, I also play a mix bag of video games, and just picked up The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow from the library to read. I've also played guitar on and off for a number of years.

Q: What do you love best about your job?

A: The variety of work to do and the people.

Q: What has been your best experience at TG so far?

A: Using my skill set to address concerns and progress projects forward.

Q: What technologies have you worked with or enjoyed working with?

A: I've worked with middleware applications like Talend and Nextgen Connect. I've contributed to a Sumologic provider for Terraform written in Go, but mostly use Python as my coding language of choice if I can get away with it. I also enjoy working with Terraform to do application deployment with AWS Services.

Q: What tech trends excite you the most in 2021?

A: I'm always excited to see what happens in tech gaming.
